消息面上，中国有色矿业公布，附属中色非洲矿业的谦比希东南矿体自今年9月开始治理至今，已完成副井的全部修复工作，正在实施主井的修复。预计全部修复工作将于今年12月中旬完成，施工期间谦比希东南矿体暂时停产。因此，公司调整2025年全年生产计划，自有矿山铜产量由16万吨调整为14万吨。
此外，隔夜公布的数据显示美国就业市场出现矛盾信号，新增就业11.9万显著超预期，但失业率却升至四年来最高的4.4%，且前两月就业被大幅下修；这是美联储12月议息会议前能看到的最后一份就业报告，这可能让12月的决策变得更加困难。数据公布后铜价走弱。
