Lotus Resources Completes First Blast at Malawi Uranium Mine

Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT) completed the first blast at the open pit within its Kayelekera uranium mine in Malawi, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company is on track to ramp up to production of 200,000 pounds of triuranium octoxide per month at the mine in the first quarter of 2026, the filing said.
It expects the delivery of ore from the operations to the run-of-mine pad to start in the coming weeks, the filing added.
