a2 Milk Co. (NZE:ATM, ASX:A2M) secured early approvals from New Zealand's Ministry for Primary Industries and China's General Administration of Customs to transition two infant milk formula products acquired with the a2 Pokeno facility to the company-branded products, according to a Monday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The final step involves submitting for approval from the State Administration for Market Regulation, scheduled for December, with the review process anticipated to take around six months, per the filing.
The company remains on track to launch the new products in the late first half of 2027, the filing added.
The company's New Zealand shares shed about 2% in recent Monday trade.
