Upbest's Profit Slides in Fiscal H1; Shares Slip 3%

Upbest (HKG:0335) saw a decline in attributable profit in the six months ended Sept. 30 to HK$25.5 million from HK$28.0 million in the year-ago period, a Nov. 21 filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

Shares of the financial company were down 3% in Monday afternoon trading.

Basic EPS stood at HK$0.0095 in the interim period, down from HK$0.0104 in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year.

Revenue slipped 15% to HK$42.1 million in the half year from HK$49.4 million a year prior.
