第十届复旦首席经济学家论坛于11月23日在上海举行。北京大学新结构经济学研究院院长、北京大学国家发展研究院及南南合作与发展学院名誉院长林毅夫出席并演讲。
林毅夫提到，2008年道琼斯指数是一万两千点，当时国际货币基金组织的经济学家、世界银行的经济学家都认为，一万两千点是有不少泡沫的。但现在美国实体经济实际上并没有恢复，而道琼斯指数现在已经达到四万六千点。
“如果说12000点就有泡沫，46000点，当然泡沫更大。不少资金投入到跟2000年以前一样的互联网泡沫那样的投资，现在叫人工智能。”他说。
林毅夫认为，在这种状况之下，很可能会像2000年互联网泡沫的破灭，也可能会出现人工智能泡沫的破灭，并且这个破灭很可能是像2008年美国房地产市场泡沫的破灭，带来美国的金融经济危机，以及全世界的金融经济危机。
