Orange, Bouygues and Iliad's Free Mull Broader Bid For Drahi's Assets, FT Says, Citing Unnamed Sources

--French telecom majors Orange, Bouygues and Iliad-owned Free are considering expanding their offer for Patrick Drahi's SFR to include other assets owned by the French-Israeli billionaire, the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The consortium is seeking to reach a deal by spring, when Orange is expected to complete its 4.25 billion-euro purchase of the remaining half of its Spanish subsidiary MasOrange, FT says.

--Altice France, Iliad and Orange declined to comment when approached by the FT. Bouygues didn't respond to a request for comment.
