SGS agreed to acquire Information Quality, an Australian consultancy that specializes in digital engineering and asset management, for an undisclosed sum.
The Swiss testing, inspection and certification specialist said Monday that the transaction is part of its new digital strategy launched in October. The company expects to generate at least 200 million Swiss Francs ($247.4 million) in additional revenue from digital operations by 2027 compared with 2023.
The Information Quality deal is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to be completed by early 2026, SGS said.
