Stantec (STN) will carry out geologic assessments, geological modelling, and technical reviews for Upcycle Minerals' next phase of the Tuxford potassium sulfate project in Saskatchewan, Canada, Upcycle said Monday.

The company said it re-engaged Stantec following a positive outcome from the preliminary phase of work. The new activities will support the preparation of technical reports and site-investigation recommendations for the Tuxford and Alkali properties.

The Tuxford project aims to convert brine into potassium sulfate fertilizer with carbon capture, Upcycle said.
