Tyson Foods to Close Nebraska Beef Plant, Convert Texas Facility to Single Shift

Tyson Foods (TSN) said Friday it will end operations at its Lexington, Nebraska, beef plant and convert its Amarillo, Texas, beef facility to a single full-capacity shift, according to a Form 8-K filing.
The company said production will be increased at other beef facilities to meet customer demand and optimize volumes across its network.
