Hong Kong ZCloud Technology Construction (HKG:9900) saw a decline in attributable profit in the six months ended Sept. 30 to HK$3.4 million from HK$16.7 million in the year-ago period, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Basic EPS stood at HK$0.0012 in the interim period, down from HK$0.0056 in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year.
The construction services company's revenue slipped 8.9% to HK$565.3 million in the half year from HK$620.6 million a year prior, mainly due to a lower revenue from RMAA Services.
The firm attributed the lower profit to a decline in gross profit, a less substantial rise in the fair value of financial assets at fair value through profit and loss, and higher impairment losses under the expected credit loss model.
