International Paper (IP) shares were up nearly 1% in recent Monday trading after BNP Paribas Exane upgraded its rating on the company's stock to outperform from underperform and adjusted its price target to $44 from $34.
Trading volume stood at over 3.4 million shares, against a daily average of about 4.5 million.
