Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) began a maiden drilling program at the Mojave project in California, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Earthworks contractors mobilized to the El Campo rare earths prospect to begin drill site preparations. The program is designed to test the down-dip continuity of the rare earth element-bearing breccia zones and shear structures mapped and sampled at the surface.
Its shares jumped 11% in recent trading on Thursday.
