Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) said drilling at the Maverick Springs silver-gold project in Nevada returned an extensive mineralized zone intercepted above the delineated mineral resource, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered an intercept of 140.21 meters at 71 grams per tonne grade of gold-equivalent, including 25.8 g/t grade of silver and 0.53 g/t grade of gold from 160.02 meters, as well as 47.24 meters at 871 parts per million grade of antimony from 160.02 meters.
