CMC Magnetics (TPE:2323) acquired 310,000 shares of Phison Electronics (TWO:8299) for NT$331.3 million, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.
The shares were bought between Nov. 24 and Nov. 25 at an average price of NT$1,068.6 each.
Following the purchase, CMC Magnetics holds 250,000 Phison Electronics shares, equivalent to about 0.12% of the company.
The acquisition was made for portfolio management purposes, the optoelectronic products manufacturer said.
