凭借海南博鳌乐城国际医疗旅游先行区的支持政策优势，该系统为全球目前唯一获得正式医疗器械注册证、并可直接应用于常规临床治疗(非处于临床试验阶段)的硼中子治疗系统，相关临床治疗服务预计于2026年第一季度正式开展。
此次出束成功，验证了系统核心部件各项参数均达到设计指标，标志着该项目正式从设备安装正式转入束流调试。这一关键节点的达成，为后续中子注量率精准调控、束流物理验证以及生物学效应评估等核心工作奠定了坚实基础，也确保了设备能够按既定计划高标准推进临床治疗，为癌症患者提供安全及精准的硼中子治疗服务。
