SIA Engineering, Safran Aircraft Engines Sign LOI to Broaden Engine Maintenance Partnership

SIA Engineering (SGX:S59) and Safran Aircraft Engines signed a letter of intent to broaden their partnership in CMF LEAP engine maintenance in Singapore, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Under the LOI, the companies will jointly explore options to expand the existing scope of services in their commercial agreement, which includes the formation of a joint venture in LEAP engine maintenance, repair and overhaul in the city-state.

As of Nov. 25, no definitive or binding agreements have been entered into by the parties as contemplated by the LOI, and there is no assurance or certainty that such agreements will be entered into or reached.
