Duketon Mining's (ASX:DKM) recent assay results from its Killarney project in Western Australia were "encouraging," as every hole drilled into the mineralized structure has intersected gold mineralization, according to a Euroz Hartleys note on Monday.
The company on Monday confirmed the presence of gold within the targeted structural corridor at Killarney following the receipt of recent assay results. Samples have been resubmitted for assay to assess the potential of "nuggety" gold, with results expected within eight weeks.
The research firm said that while the size of the project is yet to be determined, it notes that even a small high-grade mining opportunity could quickly be commercialized, especially given the granted mining licence.
Euroz Hartleys maintained its speculative buy rating on Duketon Mining, with its price target of AU$0.75 under review.
