Niraku GC (HKG:1245) reported 698 million yen in attributable profit for the six months ended Sept. 30, up from 451 million yen a year earlier, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the company were up nearly 8% in morning trading on Wednesday.
Earnings per share came in at 0.58 yen, compared with 0.38 yen in the prior-year period.
Revenue rose to 15.4 billion yen from 14.2 billion yen, the figures showed.
The board declared an interim dividend of 0.20 yen per share, an increase from 0.09 yen a year earlier.
