Thanksgiving Global Online Sales up 7.9%, Salesforce Says

Global online sales on the Thanksgiving holiday were up 7.9% from a year earlier and projected to reach $36 billion by the end of the day, Salesforce (CRM) said in a post on X.

Global online sales had reached $13.1 billion as of 12:00 PM ET on Thursday, it said.

US Online sales on the day were expected to increase 6% to $8.6 billion, Reuters reported, citing Salesforce data.
