ChainCatcher 消息，据 Cointelegraph 报道，以太坊支持者 Anthony Sassano 在接受采访时表示，以太坊的 gas 上限明年可能会提高三倍以上，一些以太坊核心开发者甚至正在讨论在未来一年内将 gas 上限提高五倍的可能性。
此前，以太坊的 gas 上限（即网络在每个区块中允许的最大工作量）从 4,500 万提升至 6,000 万。Sassano 表示，开发者可以通过重新平衡交易成本来实现这一点，降低以太坊上某些活动的成本，同时增加其他活动的成本。“可以将原生 ETH 转账的成本从 21,000 gas 降低到 6,000 gas，成本降低超 70%，同时保持 gas 上限不变”。通过这种方式重新分配成本并重新定价其他活动，网络最终可以支持更高的 gas 上限。Sassano 与以太坊核心开发者 Ben Adams 共同撰写了以太坊改进提案 (EIP)，两人计划将其纳入以太坊的 Glamsterdam 升级中，预计将于 2026 年上半年进行。
