智通财经APP获悉，Coinbase Global(COIN.US)首席执行官Brian Armstrong周三表示，其加密货币交易所正与多家美国大型银行合作，推进聚焦稳定币、托管服务及交易业务的试点项目。
“顶尖银行正将此视为重要机遇积极布局，”Armstrong在纽约时报Dealbook峰会上表示，但未透露合作银行具体名称。他补充道，随着华尔街对数字资产生态系统的接纳度不断提升，“抗拒者终将被时代抛在身后”。
曾对加密货币持怀疑态度的贝莱德(BLK.US)首席执行官Larry Fink与Armstrong共同出席了此次活动。Fink指出：“人们持有比特币，既源于对人身安全的忧虑，也出于对财务保障的担忧——它已成为一种避险资产。”目前贝莱德旗下管理着全球规模最大的现货比特币ETF——比特币ETF-iShares(IBIT.US)。
受加密货币价格近期持续反弹的推动，Coinbase股价周三收涨逾5%。
