1125 ET - Marvell Technology's commentary about long-term growth expectations helps boost the stock, despite shorter term guidance failing to impress investors, Benchmark analyst Cody Acree says. Trading started off soft on Tuesday after the bell, as January outlook was generally in line with Wall Street estimates, Acree says. But the stock rallied after executives said revenue growth will increase sequentially through 2026, with data center sales set to grow 40% by fiscal 2028, Acree says. The company is now projecting 30% total growth in 2028, which would equate to about $12.4 billion in revenue, ahead of analysts' $11.2 billion estimate for that year, he says.
