Nestle Mulls Sale of Blue Bottle Coffee, Reuters Says, Citing Sources

--Nestle is considering the sale of Blue Bottle Coffee premium coffee chain, Reuters says, citing unnamed sources.

--The move is part of new CEO Philipp Navratil's broader strategic review, which aims to streamline the company's portfolio and exit the business of operating physical retail locations, Reuters says.

--Nestle acquired Blue Bottle Coffee in 2017 in a deal which valued it at around $700 million, with sources saying that a sale would value the chain at a discount to that, Reuters says.

--Nestle declined to comment, according to Reuters.
