Finance Sector Union Asks Regulators to Investigate ANZ Job Cuts

The Finance Sector Union called for all state-based workplace health and safety regulators to investigate ANZ Group Holdings' (ASX:ANZ, NZE:ANZ) handling of job cuts and its alleged lack of appropriate processes to identify and control hazards.
The union had asked ANZ to extend the redeployment period of the 3,500 workers due to depart in mid-December until after Christmas.
It found that the workers faced soaring stress, anxiety, and physical health impacts, with many not knowing if they would be affected.
ANZ did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
