Cobre (ASX:CBE) said infill drilling at the Cosmos target at its Ngami copper project in Botswana resulted in positive visual mineralization estimates, corroborating the extension of a "higher-grade" zone of copper mineralization, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The first 200 meters of infill hole intersected 6.5 meters of interpreted chalcocite mineralization from 197.9 meters to 204.4 meters downhole.
The drilling program was further extended to include step-back and lateral step-out holes to delineate the vertical and lateral extent of higher-grade copper-silver mineralization within the target, the filing said.
