Air New Zealand Reaches Agreement in Principle with Unions Representing Regional Turboprop, Widebody Cabin Crew

Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) reached agreements in principle with the two unions representing its regional turboprop and widebody cabin crew, and strike notices for both fleets have been withdrawn, the airline's Chief People Officer, Nikki Dines, said in a statement on Wednesday.

They are working together on finalizing collective agreements for cabin crew to vote on.

It is making progress in bargaining with the unions representing its narrowbody cabin crew. However, strike action is still planned for around half of the crew who work on the narrowbody fleet. If a strike does move forward, some services will be affected, and the airlines plan to contact customers directly from Thursday, Dec. 4, if any changes to their travel are required.
