知情人士表示，该计划可能依赖第三方处理机构，而非直接通过钱包支付，包括 Lemon、Ripio 或币安等本地及国际平台将负责处理货币兑换事宜。若该系统得以采用，其运作机制将与 YPF 现有的美元购买方式类似。顾客需扫描二维码，将资金转至 YPF 在桑坦德银行（Banco Santander）的账户，应用程序将显示对应的比索金额，以及基于国民银行（Banco Nación）买入价确定的参考汇率。
