Unico Silver (ASX:USL) confirmed continuity of near-surface mineralization at its Joaquin project in Argentina following the release of assay results for 29 holes from drilling within the La Negra SE and La Morocha SE prospects, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Silver-gold assays from extensional and infill drilling within La Negra SE include 8.1 meters at 474 grams per tonne silver equivalent from 99 meters, while follow-up silver-gold assay results from La Morocha SE include 67 meters at 97 g/t silver equivalent from 102 meters, the filing said.
An updated mineral resource estimate is set for delivery this year following the receipt of outstanding drill assays, per the filing.
Shares fell 6% in midday trade on Tuesday.
