Broken Hill Mines Finds 'Significant' High-Grade Mineralization at New South Wales Mine; Shares Down 5%

Broken Hill Mines (ASX:BHM) found "significant" high-grade mineralized zones outside the existing mineral resource at the Main Lode ore body within the Rasp mine in New South Wales during recent resource extension drilling, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results showed mineralization of three meters at 1,426 grams per tonne silver equivalent and intercepts of up to 37 meters at 314 g/t silver equivalent, the filing said.
The company plans to launch an expanded 17,000-meter drilling program at the Rasp mine next year to focus on further resource extensions of the Main Lode ore body, per the filing.
Shares fell 5% in afternoon trade on Thursday.
