China New Higher Education Logs Profit Growth for Fiscal Year 2025; Shares Fall 8%

China New Higher Education (HKG:2001) reported an 829.2 million yuan profit attributable to owners of the company for the year ended Aug. 31, up from 756.1 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Nov. 28 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the education company were down over 8% in Monday morning trade.
Earnings per share for the fiscal year 2025 came in at 0.49 yuan, unchanged from the prior-year period.
Revenue rose to 2.60 billion yuan from 2.41 billion yuan.
