Alphabet首席执行官桑达尔·皮查伊近日在接受BBC《Newsnight》采访时表示,量子计算正处于类似人工智能五年前的关键节点,即将迎来突破并走向主流应用的前夕。他称,“量子技术大概已经到了五年前AI所处的位置,五年后我们会进入一个非常令人兴奋的阶段”。
皮查伊的乐观来自谷歌近期的技术进展。今年10月,谷歌的Willow量子芯片在学术上实现所谓“可验证量子优势”,不仅能运行复杂物理模拟,还在特定任务中比全球最快超算快约13000倍。这一成果发表于《自然》,并展示了其在分子化学和药物研发等领域的潜在应用。不过,他也表示,真正具备纠错能力、可在现实环境中大规模部署的量子计算机距离成熟仍有十年甚至更久。
过去一年,量子概念股IonQ、D-Wave Quantum与Rigetti Computing涨幅分别高达97%、1420%和1590%,但近期都从高位回落超过35%。
据市场研究数据预计,全球量子计算产业规模将从2025年的35.2亿美元增至2030年的202亿美元,年复合增长率达41.8%。大型科技企业如IBM、微软和英伟达正加快布局,使竞争进一步加剧。尽管板块波动明显,卖方分析师对相关公司的股价仍保持积极预期,普遍给出70%至80%不等的上涨空间。
