Sector Update: Tech Stocks Lean Lower Premarket Monday

Technology stocks were leaning lower premarket Monday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 0.9% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) marginally declining.

Micron Technology (MU) plans to invest 1.5 trillion Japanese yen ($9.66 billion) to build a facility in Japan that would make next-generation high-bandwidth memory chips, Nikkei Asia reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Micron Technology shares were down more than 2% pre-bell.

Canadian Solar (CSIQ) stock was up more than 11% after the company said it plans to resume direct oversight of its US operations and to continue reshoring production to North America.

Rezolve AI (RZLV) shares were down more than 1% after the company said it is acquiring digital experience platform Crownpeak for an initial purchase price of $90 million and the assumption of about $150 million in debt.
