ChainCatcher 消息，以太坊联合创始人 Vitalik Buterin 在 X 平台发文表示，近年来以太坊通过持续引入多项 “硬性固定规则”，有效提升了协议安全性与长期适应性。他回顾称：2021 年：EIP-2929 和 EIP-3529，上调存储读取成本并削减 Gas 返还；2024 年：伴随登村升级，弱化合约销毁指令；2025 年：为单笔交易设定 1,677.7216 万的 Gas 上限。
Vitalik 指出，这类变更为单区块与单笔交易的最大处理量设定明确上限，有助于避免多类拒绝服务攻击、简化客户端实现，并为提升系统效率提供更多空间。他同时表示，接下来预计仍需引入更多硬性限制，包括：限制可访问代码的总字节量（短期提高调用大型合约成本，中期采用二叉树结构与按数据块计费）；为零知识 EVM 设定验证器的最大运算周期并同步调整成本；调整内存计费方式，为 EVM 最大内存消耗设定更明确的上限。
