Starcoin Group (HKG:0399) reported HK$116.2 million in attributable loss in the fiscal first half, compared with HK$101.7 million in earnings a year earlier, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.
Shares of the beauty products company gained over 36% in late morning trade Monday.
Loss per share for the half year ended Sept. 30 was HK$0.0597, compared with earnings per share of HK$0.02 in the prior year.
Revenue gained 5.8% year to year to HK$3.2 million from HK$3 million last year, figures showed.
