12月4日，奢侈品巨头LVMH集团发布声明，就爱马仕第五代继承人尼古拉·皮埃什的相关指控作出回应，明确否认“秘密获取爱马仕股份”等说法，并强调将保留法律追责权利。LVMH称，集团及股东从未以任何形式挪用爱马仕股票，也无任何“秘密持股”，同时提及皮埃什的指控已多次被瑞士司法驳回。
近期，皮埃什以“股份被欺诈转移”为由起诉LVMH及相关方，称自己名下价值约140亿欧元的600万股爱马仕股份，被其长期信任的财务顾问以秘密手段转手给LVMH，本人对此不知情。这一指控让双方沉寂多年的股权矛盾再次激化。2010年LVMH曾通过二级市场增持爱马仕股份至23.2%，被爱马仕家族视为“恶意收购”，最终双方在2014年达成和解，LVMH承诺不再增持并逐步转让股份，法国司法也在2015年对相关纠纷作出“不予起诉”裁定。
