Tourism Holdings to Transition RV Manufacturing from Queensland to New Zealand

MT Newswires Live
Dec 08

Tourism Holdings (ASX:THL, NZE:THL) will close its recreational vehicle (RV) manufacturing factory in Brisbane, Queensland, effective Dec. 19, following a review, and move all production to Action Manufacturing in Hamilton, New Zealand, according to Monday filings with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

The transition is expected to result in the loss of around 110 frontline and support roles in Australia. The majority of support roles will not be duplicated and will instead leverage existing roles already in place in New Zealand, it added. However, a proportion of frontline role reductions will be offset in New Zealand during 2026.

The firm expects to exit the lease on the Brisbane factory at some point in 2026.
