BlockBeats 消息，12 月 6 日，支付巨头西联汇款（Western Union）宣布将发行支持稳定币预充值的支付卡，现阶段主要面向通胀严重的国家和地区，进一步扩大其数字资产整合到支付服务的战略。西联汇款首席财务官 Matthew Cagwin 表示，该支付卡主要为购买力提供更大的稳定性，尤其是在货币明显贬值的经济体中，比如阿根廷去年通胀曾超过 200%，美元计价的稳定币卡有助于汇款接收者更好保值。
此前西联汇款宣布其美元稳定币定名为 USDPT，此外还将推出一个数字资产网络，用以连接数字世界和法币世界，实现数字资产在现实世界中的实用性。西联汇款预计 USDPT 将于 2026 年上半年上市。
