ChainCatcher 消息，据 CryptoSlate 报道，美国证券交易委员会 (SEC) 将于 12 月 15 日举办关于加密货币、金融监控和隐私的圆桌会议，加密隐私项目 Zcash 创始人 Zooko Wilcox 等人将参加。
分析认为美 SEC 或将在本次会议中评估其自身规则制定过程中能够给予加密隐私项目多大的监管权重。如果达成共识认为零知识证明可以满足合规义务，那么可以将这种灵活性纳入数字资产的经纪交易商、另类交易系统和托管规则中；如果会议分裂成“隐私是一项权利”和“隐私助长犯罪”两大阵营，后续可能会沿用现有的以监控为主的框架，而将隐私倡导者推向法庭诉讼。
