ChainCatcher 消息，香港于周二的新闻稿中表示，正就 CARF 的实施和税收报告标准的修改征求意见。此举明确与当地政府打击跨境逃税的努力相关。香港财经事务及库务局局长 Christopher Hui 表示，采用 CARF 将表明政府“致力于促进国际税收合作和打击跨境逃税”。
除 CARF 外，香港还在征求有关采用共同报告标准（CRS）的意见。CARF 和 CRS 均为经济合作与发展组织（OECD）的倡议，旨在使国际税收报告的各个方面标准化。目前 CARF 已获全球广泛采用。OECD 维护的最新列表显示，已有 48 个国家承诺在 2027 年之前采用 CARF，27 个国家承诺在 2028 年之前采用，美国承诺在 2029 年之前采用。
