美国知名投资者、电影《大空头》原型人物迈克尔·伯里（Michael Burry）周一透露，他持有大量房利美和房地美的仓位，并预计如果这两家抵押贷款金融巨头再次通过首次公开发行（IPO）上市，他的仓位将大幅上升。
在他的Substack通讯“Cassandra Unchained”中，伯里表示，他预计房利美和房地美的IPO价格将在帐面价值的1-1.25倍之间，上市后一到两年内股价可能达到帐面价值的1.5 - 2倍。
“一旦每家公司都通过IPO摆脱了资本限制，我预计增长将自然加速，”伯里写道。
他还说，如果巴菲特的伯克希尔哈撒韦公司在房利美和房地美的IPO中认购大量股份，他不会感到意外。
伯克希尔哈撒韦此前曾投资于抵押贷款相关公司，并曾持有房利美的股份，但后来出售了这些股份。
伯里还认为，房利美和房地美对美国房地产市场仍然至关重要，他指出，这两家政府支持的企业拥有或担保了美国约62%的未偿还抵押贷款，并支持了约70%的合格银行贷款。
房利美和房地美是由国会创建的，目的是通过确保负担得起的抵押贷款融资来支持房地产市场，但在2008年金融危机期间遭受重创后倒闭，此后一直处于联邦政府的监管之下。
今年8月有报道称，特朗普政府曾预计将在今年晚些时候启动这两家公司的IPO。
