Agile Group (HKG:3383) said a winding-up petition was filed against the company in Hong Kong, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Tuesday.
Shares of the property developer fell 3% in morning trade Wednesday.
The petition was filed by Melco (Zhongshan) Business Management over the alleged non-payment of $18.6 million and 2.2 million yuan awarded by a China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission tribunal.
The Hong Kong High Court is due to hear the petition on Feb. 25, 2026.
Agile Group said it would oppose the petition "vigorously," and was in talks with the petitioner on a solution.
