Instacart被曝使用AI定价工具导致同店同品最高价差7%

12月10日,一份最新研究显示,美国生鲜外送平台Instacart使用的人工智能定价工具,让消费者在同一家店购买相同商品时,付出不同价格。这份由进步派团体Groundwork Collaborative、Consumer Reports 与新闻组织More Perfect Union于周二发布的研究,邀请来自四座城市的437名购物者,在Instacart App中于同一家零售商选取相同商品加入购物车,以观察是否出现定价差异。

结果显示,近75%的测试商品对不同使用者呈现不同价格。针对同一家店、同一篮商品的比较中,总价格最多可相差约7%,Groundwork表示,若此差距持续一年,等同于每年约1200美元的成本差异。Instacart回应称,只有少数合作零售商进行有限的线上定价测试,且这些测试并未使用个人、人口统计或个别行为资料;公司强调,价格也不会随供需或即时因素改变。
