ChainCatcher 消息，美国货币监理署（OCC）署长 Jonathan Gould 表示，申请联邦银行牌照的加密公司应与传统机构获得“同等对待”，没有理由在监管上人为区分。
他称，数字资产保管与安全存管并非新概念，其电子化业务“已持续数十年”。Gould 强调，银行体系具备从“电报时代演进至区块链时代”的能力，不应被限制在过去的技术与业务框架中。
他透露，OCC 今年已收到 14 份新银行申请，其中包括涉及数字资产的新型业务实体，这几乎与过去四年的同类申请总和相当，显示需求显著上升。
Gould 认为，允许从事加密与创新技术的机构获得联邦监管，是确保金融体系持续与现代经济同步发展的必要路径。他也回应部分银行对加密公司获得牌照的担忧，称监管框架完全有能力对其进行监督。
