Old Republic International Declares $2.50 Special Dividend

Old Republic International's board has declared a special cash dividend of $2.50 a share, which will return about $620 million to the insurance holding company's investors.
The Chicago company on Friday said the dividend is payable Jan. 14 to shareholders of record Jan. 2.
Old Republic earlier this year raised its regular quarterly dividend by 9.4% to 29 cents.
