ChainCatcher 消息，美国第二大教师工会 American Federation of Teachers (AFT) 已敦促美国参议院重新考虑一项加密货币法案，声称该法案将其 180 万会员的养老金置于风险之中，同时在打击数字资产领域的欺诈和腐败方面作用甚微。
AFT 主席 Randi Weingarten 在一封致美国参议院银行委员会的信函中，针对《Responsible Financial Innovation Act》表示，该法案“不负责任且鲁莽”，并指出“它对工薪家庭的养老金和整体经济稳定构成深远风险”，一旦颁布，可能为“下一次金融危机奠定基础”。该法案由参议员 Cynthia Lummis 和 Bernie Moreno 共同发起。此前，美国最大的劳工联合会 AFL-CIO 和 Institute of Internal Auditors 也对该法案表达了反对意见，指出其未能保护消费者和确保加密货币交易所健全的治理。
