Orion Minerals Not Aware of Undisclosed Information Explaining Recent Trading of Securities; Shares Down 14%

Orion Minerals (ASX:ORN) said it is not aware of any undisclosed information concerning the company that could explain the change in price of its securities from the close of AU$0.018 on Dec. 8 to a high of AU$0.022 on Dec. 9, according to its response to the ASX Price Query filed with the Australian bourse on Wednesday.

While the company is not aware of any factors that could impact the recent trading of its securities, it noted the signing of a term sheet with a Glencore subsidiary for the proposed funding of the Prieska project in South Africa. It was disclosed in September.

Additionally, the company said that it provided an update to the ASX in November about the progress of the Glencore due diligence and negotiations for the proposed funding.

The company maintained that it complies with the ASX Listing Rules.

Orion Minerals shares fell 14% in afternoon trade on Wednesday.
