Lindian Resources Awards All Non-Process Infrastructure Contracts at Malawi Project

Lindian Resources (ASX:LIN) said that all major non-process infrastructure contracts for the Kangankunde project in Malawi have been awarded, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The awarded contracts cover the mining workshop, administration building, power infrastructure, tailings storage facility, as well as site security, the filing said.
The company expects its first commercial production next year, according to the filing.
Shares rose more than 1% in morning trade on Thursday.
