路透北京12月11日 - 中国核工业集团有限公司（中核集团）研究部门的一位官员周四表示，中国将于2026年上半年开始国产小型模块化反应堆（SMR）"玲珑一号 "的商业运营。
该反应堆也被称为“APC100”，是2016年国际原子能机构（IAEA）批准的首个小型模块化反应堆。全球首个陆上商用模块化小堆“玲龙一号”在海南昌江核电基地正式开工。
中核战略规划研究总院院长王振清在北京的一次国际能源会议上表示，这些小型反应堆主要用于满足电网较弱地区的用电需求，例如岛屿。
与传统反应堆相比，SMR 的体积更小，建造速度更快，可以部署在偏远地区、船舶和飞机上。
支持者说，SMR还能节省成本，因为它们可以在工厂里建造。但所提供的电力是否与大型反应堆一样廉价仍存在疑问。
美国目前还没有建造这种小型反应堆，但能源部希望在 2030 年代之前开发出这种反应堆。
11 月，英国也批准了在北威尔士建造小型反应堆并在 2030 年代前将其与电网连接的项目。(完)
