Black Cat Syndicate Agrees to Acquire Western Australia Tenements; Shares Up 4%

Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) agreed to acquire tenements near the Lakewood processing facility, part of the Kal East gold operation in Western Australia, from Black Mountain Gold for AU$200,000, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The acquisition will allow the potential extension of current tailings storage capacity to over 20 years and expansion of the processing facility capacity to 1.5 million tonnes per annum, the filing said.

Black Mountain Gold is a Horizon Minerals (ASX:HRZ) subsidiary, per the filing.

Black Cat Syndicate shares rose 4% in morning trade on Friday.
