Metal Powder Works (ASX:MPW) produced high-purity silver powder from high-purity silver bars using its patented DirectPowder process in response to inbound customer requests, expanding its specialty material portfolio, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The DirectPowder process used in the production achieved over 95% yield, it added.
The company will progress market validation of silver powders in manufacturing processes and applications.
Metal Powder Works' shares jumped nearly 5% in recent trading on Thursday.
